This website or my computer seems to be a little sensitive. (ie. a mind of its own)
As I was saying, Joseph Gore is my 4th Great Grandfather. He patened 100 acres on Clearfork in 1825 in the area of where the West Side Highschool is located. His wife was Martha Pine, the had 13 Children. I hope to hear from some of my cousins.

Greetings, it's good that you are interested in the museum. I am the vp of it. I would like to know if the George Morgan you refered to is the one that died in the Union prison at Camp Chase. If this is the one, do you know the spot where he killed Ferdinand Newman?

My grandparents were from Wyoming County. They came to Mingo County in 1906. I am related to the Lusk, Morgans(my grandmother was a Morgan), Cooks, Blankenships and Baileys. I actually have my Lusk line for 12 generations, including my children and grandchildren. I visited the grave of George W. Morgan in Columbus, OH. He was my great great grandfather. I actually have my genealogy for the Morgans, Cooks and Blankenships. Lots of history in Wyoming County. Hope I can come to visit the museum. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Williamson Area Railroad Museum.
